DRIVING IN U.A.E.

• I AM ITALIAN AND I WILL COME IN SHORT TIME TO LIVE IN U.A.E.
  1) DO I NEED TO HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENCE TO DRIVE MY CAR?
  2) CAN I BRING MY CAR WITH THE ITALIAN PLATE AND AFTER TO CHANGE WITH A U.A.E. PLATE WHEN I GOT THE RESIDENT VISA?
