Getting a job Outside London

I am an IT professional working in Nigeria, specializing in Business Intelligence. I just got my work permit and I am planning to come to London soon. Can anyone give me ideas on how to get a job with my skills anywhere outside London? And what options for accommodation do I have when I arrive?
