deutsches Auto nach GB einführen

• Was muss man alles beachten wenn man ein deutsches Auto (Audi A3,2004) für ein sechs monatiges Praktikum nach England mitnehmen möchte.
  was ich bisher herausgefunden habe ist, dass man bei einem Aufenthalt länger als sechs Monate das Auto registrieren muss.
  Wie siehts aus mit den Scheinwerfern?
  Reicht eine normale deutsche Autoversicherung aus oder muss man eine englische Voreweisen können?
  Über Tipps würd ich mich sehr freun

  da hab ich leider auch keine Idee, aber hast du mittlerweile schon was rausgefunden? Wuerde mich interessieren, da ich selbst bald nach England ziehe und mein Auto gerne mitnehmen wollte.

  Bei manchen autos kann man die scheinwerfer auf linksverkehr umstellen (zB Mercedes), bei meinem Golf geht das nicht, aber da gibt es abklebefolien beim händler; wenn du weißt wo genau dein auto hinstrahlt kannst du das auch selber abkleben.
  Zur versicherung und registrierung kann ich nur sagen: woher will denn wer wissen wie lange du in england bleibst…
  unsere deutsche versicherung ist gut genug, nur so eine grüne auslandskarte wäre evtl nötig (weiß aber nicht ob man die in GB überhaupt braucht). Frag am besten bei deiner versicherung nach, vor allem, was alles getragen wird.
