Extending stay in the UK

• Hello all!
  
  I am currently on full time employment in the UK under a working holiday visa. Unfortunately, this will end in October 2008 (due to the fact WHM visa holders can only work up to a year), and the company are unable to extend the visa for me. My WHM visa expires officially in June 2009, and I do not have enough funds to go on holiday for the remaining 9 months, therefore, is there any other way I can gain some income while waiting for my 2 years to be up.
