hi about dependent visa

hi i am on post study work visa my husband is in india.before he lived in uk for 5 years and he over stayed for6 months after his visa got expired.but uk government didnt deported him are didnt issued any letter to go back to his home country.now if i apply for the dependent visa will he get visa and what are the requerments please give the details
