As a person of colour you are vulnerable to racism anywhere, even moreso if you are black (let's fact it).
The fact of the matter is that it is worldwide, and not solely in the Middle East.I think that when people experience the same prejudice from the Arabs, they are taken aback because they do not expect to experience this sort of treatment from fellow people of colour, which is what they essentially are.
You cannot live life in a box, and can experience racism (or any other "ism"
